Educación socioemocional e identidad personal en adolescentes de educación secundaria

La formación de la identidad personal durante la adolescencia constituye un proceso vinculado con el desarrollo de competencias socioemocionales, las cuales favorecen diferentes aspectos relacionales y vínculos significativos en el contexto escolar. El objetivo de esta revisión sistemática fue analizar las relaciones teóricas y empíricas entre la educación socioemocional y la formación de la identidad personal en adolescentes de educación secundaria, con atención al autoconocimiento, la pertenencia escolar, la mediación docente y las experiencias curriculares de exploración. La metodología empleada de enfoque cualitativo, de tipo revisión sistemática se desarrolló en junio de 2026, consultándose las bases de datos ERIC, PubMed/MEDLINE, SciELO, Dialnet y Redalyc, complementando la búsqueda mediante rastreo de referencias y verificación de DOI. De 84 registros identificados, 27 estudios fueron publicados entre 2018 y 2025 cumpliendo con los criterios de elegibilidad. La calidad metodológica se evaluó con MMAT 2018 y AMSTAR 2, realizándose posteriormente una síntesis temática narrativa. Los resultados evidenciaron que la autoconciencia, la regulación emocional y el autoconcepto fortalecen la interpretación de la experiencia personal, mientras que la pertenencia escolar, el reconocimiento y las relaciones docentes favorecen una identidad más sólida. Asimismo, las intervenciones con continuidad curricular, exploración guiada y diálogo cultural mostraron mayor efectividad. Se concluye que la educación socioemocional contribuye al desarrollo progresivo de la identidad adolescente mediante procesos mediados por el contexto educativo. La escasa evidencia proveniente de entornos rurales latinoamericanos justifica profundizar estas relaciones en instituciones educativas de Colombia.
